Area Attractions

• The Venue, Crowne Plaza, is 22 miles from downtown San Francisco by car.  Rental cars are available at the Venue or the airport. The beautiful Golden Gate Bridge is one hour away by car.
• The free shuttle to SFO airport from the Crowne Plaza Hotel connects with Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART Train) all over the Bay Area.  A BART ride from the airport to downtown San Francisco is about 40 minutes long.
• Berkeley City and the University of California at Berkeley are both approximately 1 hour away by car but also accessible by BART.
• Stanford and Palo Alto are 45 minutes away by car. Stanford Mall is a very nice outdoor shopping experience.
• The Wine Country (Napa Valley and Sonoma) is less than 2 hours away by car.
• The San Francisco Waterfront offers bay tours on the Blue and Gold Fleet (UC Berkeley colors) and the Red and White Fleet (Stanford colors).
